www.thebay3d.com > Web Design 4 - 3D Design

Love to play multi-player online games?
Well, how about taking the first step to creating your own?
"The U.S. Army alone plans to invest close to $100 million in training games and simulations over the next two to three years. Conservative predictions anticipate astounding growth in serious game and simulation markets, including crime scene reconstruction and corporate training software. These predictions signal continued demand for specialized programming professionals, especially in the area of game and simulation design."

"In the future, virtual worlds platforms will be adopted for commerce, for education, for professional, military, and vocational training, for medical consultation and psychotherapy, and even for social and economic experimentation to test how social norms develop.1"

This brand-new-to-Cypress Bay course will introduce you to Flux Studio, a free, integrated 3D and animation software for modeling, animating and scripting virtual objects and worlds. You will learn how to bring your own 2D designs into the 3rd dimension - including modeling for games, creating and animating your own 3D designs and even building your own online environments embedded into web pages. And since Flux Studio is still in beta development you will have the unique experience of working alongside professional 3D Design developers to help make Flux even more powerful than it already is.

If this sounds like your idea of a cool class then be sure to see Ms Stewart in room 323 or just sign up for Web 4 (3D Design) and experience computer design as you never imagined.
